Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) provides those recovering from addiction with much-needed support as they maintain everyday routines and responsibilities where newly learned coping skills can be applied. Participation in local self-help groups from the beginning of treatment provides the opportunity to develop long-term supportive relations with other patients. Costs are lower compared to a residential or inpatient treatment program, and there is more flexibility to respond to individual needs.
